My lyrics

Dancing in the Rain
I had had the idea for the riff and the mood in which this song had to be for quite a time but not found a good melody and text for it. I wanted a slight melancholy in the song but it should in the same time have a good drive and bring up the image of a horse dancing over a meadow in light rain with a rainbow overhead. The story should be about painting such a picture, starting very vague and only revealing itself towards the end. Then one day I met a man by whom I was enormeously fascinated and the same evening when I returned back home, melody and text were suddenly there.

  1. If I was to paint a picture of a feeling
I’d chose love cause love is so deep
and with my brush I’d mix a thousand lovely colours
each one fairer than the other but none is the key
’cause love has so, so many facettes
    I just use an allegory
  • chorus:
It’s like dancing in the rain
under rainbows, in the sunlightNa na na…
  1. Love is teaching us modesty and doesn’t
ask for money nor wants any guarantees
it’s just there and doesn’t care about your status
it’s the door to undiscovered mysteries
if I’d have to paint a picture of a feeling
    I’d just paint the following
  • Chorus:
    Two dancers in the rain
    Under rainbows, in the sunlight
    Two dancers in the rain
Under rainbows, in the sunlightNa na na…
  • Bridge:
And these dancers there would be you and me
    Dancing endlessly right into eternity
And this look there in your eyes
And to see your prescious smile
    Are simply everything I need
And if these dancers there would be you and me
We’d be dancing hand in hand no matter what fate would bring
‘Cause fate would bring us good times
and fate would bring us bad times
and the only thing that counts is love
  • Chorus:
We’d be dancing in the rain
    Under rainbows, in the sunlight
We’d be dancing in the rain
Under rainbows, in the sunlightNa na na…

      You’re welcome, Helen.

Great to hear you like it!

As to now I am just trying to fix out some problems in the coding of my blog and to improve readability. So it will take some time until I am able to post the next song. But I will definitely do so as soon as I have the time for it!
