Roots, woods n’ lakes – walking to Einsiedeln

After Rapperswil the usual walk is only 16.5km to Einsiedeln, a huge monastery in Switzerland which originally was the starting point for pilgrimages from here to Santiago. Castles, cornfields and blistering heat

It was my day 3 on the Way of St. James in Switzerland and I was going to walk from Wattwil to Rapperswil.
